Tunbridge Wells Garden of Remembrance
To commemorate 80 years since VE Day, we are holding an Open Afternoon with an exhibition about the Garden of Remembrance in our cemetery.
The exhibition will focus on the history of the Garden of Remembrance and the stories of a few of the people buried there.

Refreshments as always will be available

Thursday 22nd May
Peter Fry commemoration
Each year, on the anniversary of his death, the Sea Cadets hold an event at the cemetery to remember Peter Fry, a 15 year old member of the Sea Cadets who died in tragic circumstances in 1943. Following his death his parents donated a trophy, the Peter Fry Cup, to the unit in memory of their son.

Heritage Open Days
13th & 14th September 2 - 4pm
The National theme for Heritage Open Days this year is 'Architecture'. We have discovered that our cemetery holds at least 15 architects and probably more. We are busy researching some of their stories and some of the amazing buildings they designed. We also have our lovely chapel, lodges and Mausoleum which are architectural gems in themselves.

Join us for an exhibition, chat, tea and cake

October 22nd
Our popular fungus walk with Martin Allison will take place on 22nd October. Last year over 40 species were found. We wonder if this will be a bumper year?
